In the world of transportation, airline posters are the new kid on the block. While commercial air travel did not become prevalent until after WWII, there are several early and fine examples from Air France, KLM, and Pan American. Of course just one of these airlines is still operating.

Examples of well known and sought after artists include E. McKnight Kauffer for American Airlines, Joseph Binder and Stan Galli for United Airlines, David Klein for TWA and Guy Georget or Nathan for Air France.
